Minnesota has fabulous state parks. You appreciate that when you compare camping in a state park to camping in a private campground. We recently spent the day with Jan’s sister and brother-in-law at Great River Bluffs State Park just south of Winona.
It was the first time in that park for all of us, and we were not disappointed. The campsites were were well maintained and reasonably private, and the hiking trails were plentiful and just about our right for our caliber. If you have the chance, get out and visit one of Minnesota’s numerous state parks. You won’t be disappointed!
